Quite true, the applications that have yet to be written will make this piece of tech quite the "MUST HAVE" gadget. I own an iPhone, iMac, and MacBook Pro. I thought, gee, do I need the iPad? Talk about superfluous!! Well, I have been pondering purchasing a Kindle and since the iPad does have a book reader I figured the purchase would be worthwhile and all the extras are gravy. My only concern is the form factor. I'm wondering how comfortable and ergonomic this thing is going to be. I have pre-ordered mine for in-store pickup. I'll be there early and I HOPE to get some play time before I take out my debit card. I could not agree with you more regarding the iPad.
