If another MobileMe customer already has ebay_smith@me.com, could I use it? Or do I need to choose email addresses that no other MM customer has?

I successfully created an alias but MobileMe rejects the password for the alias so it’s unusable. Ideas?

Any way to create a new alias from the iPhone? Apple blocks access to the me.com web interface from the iPhone.
